(“XGS”), based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, provides transportation and logistics services for the floor covering industry.   Founded in 1985, XGS is the largest floor covering transportation and logistics provider in the U.S.  XGS offers specialized Less-Than-Truckload (“LTL”) transportation, warehousing, and commercial delivery for Hard-to-Move goods.  XGS was previously a non-core subsidiary of US Xpress, a $1.5 billion (revenue) truckload provider.  XGS maintains relationships with over 3,000 customers including: blue chip retailers (Home Depot, Lowe’s, Walmart), floor covering manufacturers (Mohawk, Shaw Floors, Engineered Floors), and Hard-to-Move manufacturers (Samsung, Pella, Larson).
